today in the car elenora asked "mommy, why do big girls not hold anybody's hand?"

and yesterday she said "mommy, how do you make a face?" and i said "well, if i were going to make a face i would start by drawing a circle or an oval..." and she interrupted me and said "no, but mommy, how would God make a face?" and i said "Oh!" and then launched in.

sometimes her questions just are really striking.
