reading

yesterday as i was cooking dinner, elenora asked for the book "the berenstain bears in the dark" to look at as she ate her yogurt snack.  i brought it up to her and continued cooking.  a few minutes later she announced "mommy, i can read some of the words in this book."  then she proceeded to read a whole sentence out of the middle of a 2-paragraph section of the book! 

"mama bear was looking for the nightcap she had lost," she read.
