visit to russell orchard with mimi and poppy

so my dad had never been to russell orchard. after a pancake breakfast, we all packed up and headed out to show it to him. i promised elenora she could pick out a pumpkin while we were there. i thought she'd choose a big one, but true to her nature she liked the little ones best.

my dad was happy to find some freshly made apple cider. i think it reminds him of vermont.

we took ella on a hayride around the orchard, which was lots of fun on such a cool but sunny day.
