snowy day adventures

elenora and i have done a lot of sledding lately.  we have so much snow!  sometimes we just sled around the neighborhood (there's a great hill here) but sometimes we go to appleton farm and i pull elenora around, up hill and down.  it's great exercise for me, and she loves it.

here she is in our front yard.  when i shovel the driveway she likes to play by the house with her sand pail and shovel, so i made her a snow cave to play in (see left-hand corner).

here's the entrance to appleton farm.  the snow has been skied over and trampled on so much that i don't need snow shoes to stay on top (though if i wander off the path i quickly sink in up to my knees).
